What are you doing for Christmas? Day 6

It's Friday and the week has flown again.

Tomorrow night is our Church Christmas Dinner.

So today I have been getting two games organised for everyone to play after they have enjoyed the meal.

We are going to do a guess the word or phrase from quick sketches on a white board.

Then we will have a competition where a team of men and a team of ladies have to follow instructions and put together cards making up the words of a long Bible verse and attach them to a string while hopping on one foot.   I think the ladies will be the quickest!

This is not exactly getting ready for our Christmas personally but it is helping others to enjoy part of the lead up to Christmas together.  It will be nice to have the time together with others from church relaxing and having some laughs, singing some carols and playing a few games.  We love to help out with things like this.

I also got 3 little worksheets together for the children to enjoy. The theme is Angels so that it will link in with the Sunday School Theme for this month on Reassurance, Proclamation and Warning by an Angel.

Ages 7-9
Ages 10-13

Some Housework had to be tackled today because the Christmas decorations should go up tonight.

We are probably later than a lot of people in putting up our decorations but if you knew my husband you would reckon I was doing well to get him to help me do this already.
