Goals for February.

Having only found Tammy's site - My Life Abundant on Saturday which was the first day of this month I am late to this goal thing for the year but I thought I would join in anyway because I had set myself some goals for January.

I'll list them here and tell you how I got on with them before I list the ones for February.

  2. Well done - accountability to yourself is the main aim.

  3. Thanks for sharing your goals with us! I've found that whenever I'm trying to add something new to my routine, it works best when I do it during the first part of my workday. This "may" be a helpful strategy as you dedicate more personal time this month.

    1. Yes Lisa you are right, starting off the day with the new addition will mean you are not tempted later to put it off again until you procrastinate altogether.

  4. I love reading daily, weekly, monthly & yearly goals. It not only motivates me to continue with my goals, but it also gives me ideas. Visiting from #SITSSharefest. :)

    1. Hi Leslie thanks for dropping by. You are quite right, at the minute I'm trying to come up with 20 things to do or 20 wishes for 2014 so I'm reading other peoples lists for inspiration.

  6. I've noticed from reading another of your posts that you're good with spreadsheets. I set one up to help track my blog party activity. It's been very helpful. Best wishes as you grow your blog :)

    1. Hi Lydia, yes I'm doing that too. My husband always says that if there is something that can go in a list or table I'll get it in a spreadsheet. He uses them all the time too for his work so I bought him a mug that says "I love Spreadsheets"

    2. Oh, I need that mug too! My husband laughs at how I make them for everything. I am trying to understand Pinterest still. It makes little sense to me. I haven't even looked at Google +. Remember to feel accomplished for all you are doing, and have completed, rather than getting down on yourself for what isn't done. How much would you accomplish if you hadn't set the goals for yourself? You seem very self-motivated and are doing great!

    3. Thank you Rebecca, you are quite right it is easy to dwell on the things we didn't do rather than to be thankful for the things we accomplish and the improvements in our lives. Of course my goals are more easily reached because I have my "Housework/Funwork Blog Series" on Fridays which is keeping me accountable for things in the home from cleaning to organising each and every week. If you haven't seen it go check it out on the top tabs and you will see lists, apps and Spreadsheets being used to abundance.

  7. I did a Goals for February blog post too, but I had like, 4 on there LOL. You go for being so motivated and on top of things! And "Be more structured each day so that I do not spend too much time on computer" - isn't that just the hardest thing to do as a blogger?! Clicking the "X" in the corner feels like climbing a mountain sometimes because you never really feel like you're "done" kwim?

Found you through the Four Seasons Blog Hop. Thanks for sharing :)

    1. Yes, Yes, Yes Stephanie, that's right. I find I spend so much time on the computer because of the blog and helping with the church website and preparing materials for Sunday School etc. but there is always more that could be done and the temptation to stay on for another half hour is so great but it becomes an hour and a half instead. The only thing to keep me going to do other things are the goals for the month and my Housework/Funwork series on the blog on Fridays where I'm making myself accountable to readers in what I do each week to keep me on top of organisng and cleaning the house and it is working.
