#100HappyDays - Week 2

CHALLENGE

The Challenge

is to take a picture of something that makes you happy each day for 100 days and post it on facebook or twitter or google plus, etc.

I have chosen to put it on Facebook each day but also each Saturday I will do an update for the week on my blog.

So this is

WEEK 2

This week I found that most of the times I was smiling or laughing were when I was in conversation with someone and that is just not the appropriate time to pull out the camera and shoot the pic for the challenge.

Thinking about this I am so happy that I have friends and a husband who make me laugh and smile.  Also thinking about this I was challenged to seriously consider how I can help to put a smile on someone else's face.

Some ideas that came to mind were:

  • Invite them for coffee or a meal.
  • Bake a cake or cookies or buns to share with them.
  • Send them a card.
  • Write them a letter or email them.
  • Visit them.
  • Take time to talk to them or listen to them.
  • Send them a picture by email or text.
  • Phone them
  • Simply say hello and smile at them.

Why not go out and simply say hello and smile, it wont hurt us and it might put a smile on someone else's face.

6. SUNDAY

I was happy when our daughter Linda was able to Face-Time us from South Korea after 3 weeks of not having WiFi.

Then she uploaded a video of her making a snow angel there.

7. MONDAY

One of my blog posts was the third most popular on the

FEBRUARY 2014 Great Blog Train

8. TUESDAY

Found this when sorting out in the kitchen.  It's a label we were provided while living in Belgium to put on our post boxes if we did not want any advertising leaflets  - a special memory that our Belgian friends would understand.

9. WEDNESDAY

Oh the happiness of anticipating the first mug of this Great Korean Coffee from a great Korean friend.  Know it will be great because the first packet was great.

10. THURSDAY

I was happy that one of my blog posts "Another Coffee Mug" was the most viewed post on another blog hop

11. FRIDAY

I was happy that a new series of Jonathan Creek started on TV and I was able to record it, just need to persuade Fred to watch it with me.

12. SATURDAY

I had chocolate fudge cake at a friends house tonight, yummy!

DON'T FORGET!
Why not go out and simply say hello and smile, it wont hurt us and it might put a smile on someone else's face.
