Goals for July

How good was I with the goals for June?


I'll list them here and tell you how I got on with them before I list the ones for July.

BLOGGING


1.  Continue with the three weekly series on (Wed), (Sun) & (Fri)    YES











2.  Continue with the Bible Memorization Challenge  YES   













3.  See an increase in my Google Analytic stats from May to June.

Unique visitors:   1012                   increase   of   151              
Pageviews:   3454                        decrease   of   116
Pages per visit:   2.34                   decrease     but less than last month 
Av. visit duration:   3.53 mins       decrease   
Bounce rate:   69.24%                  worse again      
New Visits:   57.94%                    increased slightly
Email Sign ups        3                   increase in last month

Alexa (global) ranking  was 642,430 for May   but is  now  475,612  for June which is better.
Google ranking     Unranked with 2 pages indexed  in May and has remained the same for June.

4.  Continue to Blog Hop each weekday but take Saturday and Sunday off.

5.  Improve my schedule to help me to Tweet better for each blog post.      
                    No

6.  Have at least 2 other posts on the blog other than in the 3 series & the challenge.

8.  Arrange to be a guest blogger on another blog.
                    No
I did offer a specific post I had been writing to someone on the day I saw their shout out on their blog for guest bloggers and waited 2 weeks for them to get back to me but when they didn't I emailed them and they just said they had forgotten to contact me but had enough now.
So I sort of felt like time was wasted when I could have offered that post to someone else I saw looking for a guest post but waited to hear about the first offer and so lost out on the chance of the other one too.


9.  Start monetizing the blog.
                    No  I procrastinated.


                         


HOME
1.  Overhaul & Inventory of Bathroom.            YES
2.  Overhaul & Inventory of Hall & Stairs.         NO    not completed
3.  Overhaul & Inventory of Toilet.                  YES
4.  Finish Cleaning Jewellery.                           NO    not completed
5.  Get all old pictures into years and Scan up to 1980.    NO    not completed
6.  Get Plumber in to change tap in Utility room.        NO     
7.  Tackle another item on one of the ToDo lists.      
                       YES   see  Sense of Satisfaction is a great thing



CHURCH
1.  Revamp JULY & AUGUST Sunday School Curriculum.     NO    not completed
2.  Speak at Women's Meeting in Antrim.        YES  I spoke on "Mercy" 
3.  Update Church Website.        NO    not completed
4.  Continue to keep up the Church Facebook page.    YES


PERSONAL
1.  Start back stepping and using Fit Bit Flex in effort to lose more weight.    NO
2.  Arrange in advance to have 2 specific evenings out with my husband Fred. 
                NO   The only thing we really managed this month was a meal out for my birthday because of Fred having to travel with work this month and because he took a very severe case of food poisoning and is still not completely recovered.

3.  Be more structured each day so that I spend less time on the computer.
           YES  and   NO  but there was an improvement here. 

4.  Read another Agatha Christie Book and review it. 
     Also read and review another portion of the book on Grace.
              YES  I read another Agatha Christie book but it is not reviewed yet.
           and   NO  I didn't get the next portion of the Grace book completed
   
5.  Meet up with a friend for coffee, lunch, dinner or some time out together.    NO
6.  Start Exercising 3 times a week.     NO
7.  Continue at my Online Graphics Course once a week.    NO
8.  Finish crocheting the single bed size cover.     
                 YES  &  NO   still need to sew it up
9.  Visit another two places that I have not been to since returning to live in Northern Ireland 3 years ago.        
10. Go out of my comfort zone twice in some way. 
                   YES   Drove to The Antrim church on my own
                          (I will drive anywhere if I have company but not the same on my own)
                         
                     Also went twice to the Supermarket that I hate going to to try to get the flavoured water my husband likes when he was ill  and they didn't have it in stock!

11. Decide on holiday - where & when   
        NO   put on hold because of Fred being ill and his new travel plans for work 

12. Fred & I will continue to read some Psalms out loud to each other each day.
      YES  &  NO   some days were ok but with his travel for work we got hijacked on this.



Obviously I was weakest in the Personal area this month yet again.

I know Fred's new work travel and his food poisoning badly affected things this month but I really let it affect too many things.







BLOGGING
1.  Continue weekly series on Encouragement  (Wed) & Housework Funwork  (Fri)
because the Sunday "Why We Worship" series has ended.
2.  Continue with Bible Memorization Challenge
3.  Start a new Sunday Series  entitled  "It's God's Love"  
4.  Continue to Blog Hop each weekday but take Saturday and Sunday off.       
5.  Improve my schedule to help me to Tweet better for each blog post.      
6.  Have at least 2 other posts on the blog other than in the 3 series & the challenge.   
7.  Arrange to be a guest blogger on another blog.
8.  See an increase in my Google Analytic stats from June to July.
9.  Start to Monetize the blog.


HOME

2.  Overhaul & Inventory of Shed.
3.  Finish Cleaning Jewellery.                           
4.  Get all old pictures into years and Scan up to 1980.

  3. Go out of your comfort zone...I'm interested to see how you do this! Great list! You don't have a goal concerning new followers in July...I'll follow anyway! :) Perhaps you'd like to come follow me?

    1. HI there again, no you are right I didn't include followers, I usually forget to look and see if any more have signed up for emails as they go out automatically and I don't have to do it.
