If you have been dropping by for my Housework/Funwork Series you will know that I had a schedule for 2014 which meant overhauling (Spring Cleaning but not necessarily in Spring Time) and Making an Inventory of every room in our house.
Yes I knew it was a big task as we do have quite a few rooms but I was willing to try it to get to my ultimate goal of
"A place for everything & everything in its place".
Well last month may have been the end of 2014 but it was not the end of the housework - and of course never will be!
Some rooms were completed as planned.
Some rooms were not.
Some rooms were completed and then something happened (like the painters in doing 6 rooms plus hall and stairs shortly before Christmas) and now they need some more effort.
Some rooms were started and not finished.
Some rooms did not get started.
So having worked through my monthly & weekly schedules set up last January
HAD LED TO THIS
I have also found some things that need to be done less often than previously envisaged and other things that need to be done more often, plus some things that need to be changed to a different month or week or day.
The other weekly, monthly and daily tasks are in my iPad in my "Things" App to come up in my daily to dos.
So here we are ready to face the housework and organising in 2015 but knowing that it will be easier than last year because of
so much inventory already completed
having got somewhat used to this type of plan
and of course no painters coming in to disrupt my good efforts
and then there is another thing to help which I'll talk about next week

Funwork - I got working with spreadsheets
and Fred helped with all the packing up and sorting out from Christmas because of my sore arm.
