#100HappyDays - Week 12

The Challenge

is to take a picture of something that makes you happy each day for 100 days and post it on facebook or twitter or google plus, etc.

I have chosen to put it on Facebook each day but also each Saturday I will do an update for the week on my blog.

There are many types of things that can make us happy,

  •          some being "laugh out loud happy",
  •          some being "worked to get a result happy"
  •          and others being "contented happy".

This week I have a mix of all of these.

  • I have laughed out loud at a funny video and during a game with friends
  • I have worked to get a graphic made, my husband learnt how to make a short animation and we both worked at organising part of the house.
  • I have been happy to have been somewhere I hadn't been for years and lastly contented about something more personal to me

I am glad that happiness comes in different forms or else we would lead a very boring life and eventually we would not feel happy at all.

I do believe that God intended us to find a form of happiness in many aspects of our lives and the things around us and wants us to enjoy living in His beautiful earth but ultimately to find not just happiness but true joy in Him.

It had to be this video that my friend shared on facebook.  It is brilliant and I don't think I will get into a lift again without thinking about this.

This one is just the first in a series of 4 of these - so even more fun over on You Tube.

An Apple Orchard on a road near Portadown that I have not been on in years.

Fun at the Beetle Drive.

I was very pleased with the picture I made for today's blog post.

Now we can see out of the Garage window after some hard work.

Fred has found another thing for us to learn to do - make simple animated videos.

Got my usual hairdresser back so a better cut than last time.

I do hope you find happiness in various aspects of life too but more than that I hope you have found real joy in God.

  1. Looks like a fun challenge. I am thankful for different forms of happiness too! This makes me think of the kids song we always sang about "If you're happy and you know it then your face will surely show it! If you're happy and you know it clap your hands!" Clap-Clap! Blessings, D P.S. Thanks for sharing at the #partyontheporch.
