Last year I took an online course on Graphics.
I learned the basics and thoroughly enjoyed it.
So much so that I look forward to making the graphics for my blog posts all the time now.
I look forward to doing graphics for our church announcements and for the church facebook posts.
I've experimented with different forms and layouts and now I look at the pictures I take in a completely different way too.
So today's post is a compilation of a sample of the different things I have learned to create.

Do I invest in Photoshop?
Or will that take up even more of my time?
Am I completely hooked already?
Or will I become a complete bore on this subject?
Or More Importantly
I see Industry reviews and a review from a scrapbooker
BUT
to try out and review for them?
I love this! I've played around a bit myself with graphics although I haven't been able to take the financial plunge into Adobe yet ;) In the meantime, I'm loving Canva and free phone apps like Over and Studio which let me indulge in my creative whims!
ReplyDeleteYes definitely I hope Photoshop gives you a free version for a review. And yes I can see where it may take over your life rather like you tube in my case lol
ReplyDeleteI must get you to teach a class in church now that would be an idea!
For me it has to be picmonkey, I only use the free version for now, but I find it so easy and versatile.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to be able to make graphics that look professional, I bet your church is delighted you have these skills now.
I love Picmonkey - I use it for so many things. It's so easy to use, it makes me feel like I know what I'm doing!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing great with graphics, I love them too - studied them for Web design. Keep up the good work.

You have done a great job. Graphics are fun. I have trouble finding the time to spend on mine. You would like Photoshop. If you have a student ID you can get a discount on it. I did last year when I took a course
