Clariti - Unique Gift Ideas

Searching for that different, unique gift for a special occasion can prove to be a hard, time-consuming, eye-tiring search of the internet for us each time a birthday, anniversary or Christmas comes along!

Do you need some help to pick out something different for the people you want to encourage and show your love?

I like to support smaller businesses within the UK who give thought and care to their individual products so today I want to introduce you to

Clariti

This is a small business only started this year by a young girl and I was very impressed by her unique  ideas which will make lovely gifts with Christmas in view.

Disclaimer:  I have not received any products or money from Amy  or Clariti - this is simply a review of her business because I wished to support her.

Let's meet the seller herself - Amy

Hi, I'm Amy Owen, owner of Clariti.

I’m based in Llanelli in South Wales (not too far from Swansea).  I was born in Glasgow, Scotland and when I was 11 my family made the move to Wales. I met my husband James in 2018 and we got married in July 2020 (I thank God every day that our wedding could go ahead).

By day I am a Teaching Assistant in a lovely primary school , and in the evenings I run a small business called Clariti which started in the first lockdown in March. There was so much uncertainty going on ,we had no idea if our wedding was going to go ahead, and this caused me a lot of anxiety. James suggested I find a hobby to take my mind off things and so I started thinking about what I could do. I became intrigued with watching resin videos on YouTube and felt that it was something I could have a go at. I bought a little starter kit and my first product was letter keyrings. The rest is history!

Amy Louise tells us about her fun and quaint items and business here:

At first I just sold to friends and family but then I set up an Instagram account, followed by a Facebook page and then finally I had an Etsy shop. Clariti primarily sells on Etsy and although currently I only sell within the UK, I am hoping to expand in the future, including setting up a website (hopefully in 2021).

Lego Themed Items for Keyrings

I get my inspiration from a variety of different places; Pinterest, Instagram, Etsy and Google being just a few. I tend to look for moulds on Etsy and think about what I can do. Very often I’ll Pinterest an idea that I have , and google for different materials that would be needed. I often talk to James about an idea and I won’t be satisfied until I have perfected what I have in mind.

Disney themed Earrings

My most recent product was Poppy Pins for Remembrance Day where I donated £1 to the Royal British Legion for every poppy sold. I was blown away with the response. In the first 3 hours I had sold 100 and since then I have sold many more.

To know that I have customers who are wanting to make a change and contribute to charities makes me so thankful that I started this little business. Now the poppies will be an annual occurrence, with more charity-donating products in the future, to make a difference in the world.

Clariti has a wide range in stock at the moment:

keyrings,

baubles,

bookmarks,

and coasters
