Why We Worship 6

I am taking time each week to ask myself "Why we worship"

God has set us all a great example.

He has shown us the way we should be in all the relationships that we have.

He teaches us that we should be faithful in word and in deed.

So our focus today is on    1 Corinthians 1:9

"God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship
of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord."

Not only has He shown us that a relationship must be built on faithfulness but He has also provided the relationship we all need.

The relationship with our Saviour.

So let us worship today because

We will be singing "What a Faithful God have I " in church today.

Are you worshipping Him today?

  2. God's faithfulness inspires awe in me and it excites me to know that I have this wonderful personal relationship with such a faithful God and wonderful Saviour. I think this links to your other thought that God loves us and gives us His great gift of love which He will never take back because He is faithful.

    1. I was thinking exactly the same thing this morning Amanda I think one thought sometimes inspires others even when we don't realize it at the time.

  3. I was walking tonight - and saw the most gorgeous sunset - and the moon -and invited God into the walk, worshipping and then talking with him, then praying about the situation I was going to enter. I was blessed with my time with Him - and blessed by the situation:) He's been drawing me into more worship - and my heart feels so lifted! Thank you for sharing your heart with me!

  4. Definitely a great reason to offer up our worship. I'm so thankful God is faithful, whether we are or not. His stability makes it possible for us to rest secure.
