I Wish People Would ..... - Coffee & Conversation

If you are a regular reader here or have stopped by my blog a few times then you may well know how much I Love Coffee & Chocolate.

Well at the moment I'm trying to cut down on the chocolate but ....  well not so much on the coffee.

I enjoy a large mug of coffee to sit and sip on when I'm checking my emails and sorting my ToDo lists in the morning & you also probably know how much I Love Lists and depend on them.

I do a lot of reading which is another Coffee Break Time and a lot of thinking so I thought I might do a new series on

where I just talk a little about what is on my mind.

Today I'm starting with some things that  "I Wish"  about people.

I often WISH that I could recognise how all the people I meet are feeling so that I can understand them better.

So I PRAY that God will help me to understand people better and that He will help me do all those things I have mentioned in my little rant above.

Do you wish this about people?

Do you pray this about yourself?

  2. I wish I always gave grace to those who don't think before they speak or don't do what they say they will do. I wish I cared more about others than myself and said what I mean more often than trying to not offend anyone. I wish I had the grace to pray before every time I speak and the patience to pray before for I do anything EVERYTIME just like I expect form others. I wish I had the humbleness to say I ALWAYS pray MORE for others than myself. I wish I understood more why people express themselves as they do instead of judging them so quickly on how they have chosen to do it. I wish I wasn't so quick to put myself on the pedestal and wish all these things of othrs first before I wish them for myself.

    2. I think most of that boils down to having Grace as you have mentioned.

  3. Sandra, I wish all those things, too. I pray for God to make me sensitive to His leading and to needs of others, to be able to empathize and also share God's love. Blessings to you!

    1. I think we all have that difficulty to some degree Mohan. I know that I can not change myself in so many ways and I need God's help to do that. I need His help to see from His point of view and to see how much He loves others. Often when I want to pray for others I find that I just have to ask God what is it I need to pray or what is it He wants me to see. I'm reading a great book on Grace at the moment so learning what God's Grace is all about and we need to emulate His grace to others. http://www.sandrasark.com/2015/09/the-discipline-of-grace.html

  7. Very much, and yes, my God-send has been turning my view around to let God work in myself for these things before anyone else. Which, by the time I wake up, it's a new day and here we go again God--work in me. It's changed my life, but I still need his help daily. Much peace and joy to you!

  8. These are great wishes, Sandra. I love how you tie it all together with praying, and give that the most important emphasis. Truly He does hear all of our heart wishes!
